Silent Hill 2

Developed with a unique story in mind and as a Next-Gen installment to the original, it quickly became a fan favorite. The story is of James Sunderland who came to the eerie and quiet town because of a letter he received from his dead wife.

Silent Hill 3

Boasted as a more "true" sequel to the original game, Silent Hill 3 really stepped it up a notch with finer controls, graphics, and characters. Heather, a normal girl, finds herself trapped in a nightmarish version of her local shopping mall.

Silent Hill 4: The Room

This installment was a bit rushed after the last game, and it was a completely different take on the series with very little actually being in Silent Hill. Henry gets chained inside his apartment with no way out besides a mysterious hole in his bathroom...

Silent Hill: Origins / Zero

Developed by the Climax Studios, a new dev team to the franchise. It takes you to Silent Hill once again as trucker Travis Grady, 7 years before the events of the original game.

Silent Hill: Homecoming

Developed by Double-Helix, another new dev team, for the Next-Gen systems. The game had mixed reactions and took a lot of influence from the movie. It follows war vet Alex going home to Shepard's Glen.

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories

Developed again by Climax Studios, who did Origins, as a re-imagining of the original. Not your typical Silent Hill game, based mostly around exploration and environment or motion based puzzles with no combat.
