>>FAQS about the SITE<< |
So Silent Hill Media has a new look? Yes, as of December 25th, 2007 Silent Hill Media had a complete overhaul. Everything was changed, and all the pages were redesigned and reorganized. I tried to make browsing as convenient and easy as possible. It is not just a new look either...? Yes, I am adding, for the first time ever, game information. Soon you will see detailed walkthroughs, enemy and boss descriptions and strategies, plot analysis, and just about everything you need to know about the games, and more! Update: July 22nd 2008 The Silent Hill 1 and 2 sections have almost been completely finished! I will get the rest of the site complete as soon as possible. What about the media (audio, movies, and pictures)? It is still intact and unchanged. I will be adding more as soon as it becomes available. What happened to the Silent Hill Movie, Silent Hill V, and Silent Hill: Origins sections!? They simply moved to the category titled "Extras" with a little less content. Sorry, but this had to happen due to the developement shift in the Silent Hill franchise. Silent Hill V and future releases are now being developed in the US (instead of Japan), where other copyright laws come into play and I need to be on the down-low in order to avoid conflict. Update: July 22nd 2008 Also, due to the developement shift in the series I have become uninterested in the next generation of titles, so the "Extras" section won't be updated very regularly. I promise to host any music (soundtracks) and sounds I can get my hands on for now, though. As for the movie section, it has been completely removed. Sorry about this inconvenience. What's going on with the Fan Media Pictures section? It is still in development. If you submitted pictures, I still have them and they will go on the site as soon as possible. I heard there was going to be a documentary on the SH series! Is that true? If so, when will it be released? This is true. We, Rosseter and I, are working hard on a 30+ minute long documentary on the Silent Hill series explaining why the Silent Hill series is over after SH3. We will go over the plot of all the games in full detail and talk about everything that has to do with SH, including the comics, play novel, cell phone, arcade, Homecoming, and Origins. We hope to make this documentary funny and informative. It is mostly written now and will be releasing sometime in OCTOBER 2008. |

In Silent Hill 3 there is an extended version of the song "Lost Carol" that plays during the cutscene with Douglas and Claudia in the Amusement Park. Any way you can record this without voices? Unfortunately, no. This is not possible because the voices are "glued" to the song. I have checked the RAW audio for it from the PC and PS2 game files and I haven't seen it anywhere. If you want the track, but don't mind the vocals, then download it HERE (right click and "Save Target As..."). Why is the Stairs of Fire scene with Angela, from Silent Hill 2, not on your website? I record all the cutscenes via the PC games, although I can record from the PS2 version if I have to (in lower quality). The problem here is that the cutscene does not display AT ALL, for some reason. I have tried everything -- even a different PC. You can hear the voices and SFX, but the screen displays white "noise". I got a friend to record it and it will be uploaded soon. |
